Stark Ranch Canada Resort

Our resort includes a three bedroom house, a log cabin, a glamping tent, and three camping sites along the James River. It is surrounded by trees in the Canadian wilderness. All areas are private and secluded from each other. Enjoy a relaxing time in peace. Great for families who would like to escape the busy life while still in comfort.

Bookings are based on double occupancy with a maximum of 6 people in the main house, 4 people in the log cabin, and 2 people in the glamping tent (plus 2 more with additional personal tent). There is a fee of $35/night per guest after two people. Pets are welcome in the house, log cabin and camping sites.  There is a pet fee of $65/pet/visit with a maximum of 2 pets (no pets in the glamping tent site).  We now have free WIFI ! (except tent/rv sites)

Camping sites have a maximum of 4 guests based on double occupancy.  There is a fee of $7 per guest after two people. $35/pet/visit with a maximum of 2 pets.

There is a 2 night minimum for all bookings.

Guests have their own outdoor firepit. Firewood is available for purchase at booking or after check in.

The resort includes seasonally maintained paths to the river as well as other paths.

Stark Ranch Canada Resort is close to James River General Store, a convenience store (5 minute drive) as well as all services in the town of Sundre (15 minute drive) including a grocery store and the Sundre Golf Club. Burnstick lake is very popular and about 20 minutes away.

Check with your carrier for cell phone and LTE reception.  Please, no early check-ins. No smoking inside or outside. The wood stove is not available for use at this time.
